What we do
Close the gap fast, then keep closing it
A widow who loses her husband rarely loses only her husband. She loses the household income, often the school fees, sometimes the roof. The drop happens in weeks; the recovery, unaided, takes years or never comes.
We work on both halves of that. Immediate relief stops the fall — books, rations, winter kits, school fees. Then livelihood work removes the need for the relief, because a household that earns is a household that stops depending on us.
Direct, not layered
Books go to the madrassa. Fees go to the school. The fewer hands between the donation and the child, the more arrives.

Completed projects stay on this site with what they cost and what they changed — including the ones that underperformed.

Why this work exists
The instruction is old, and it is specific
Care for the orphan and the widow is not a footnote in our tradition. It is named directly, and set beside the highest acts of worship. These are the narrations this organisation is built on.
أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ هَكَذَا
I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him will be in Paradise like this.
And he put his index and middle fingers together.
السَّاعِي عَلَى الأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، أَوِ الْقَائِمِ اللَّيْلَ الصَّائِمِ النَّهَارَ
The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is like a warrior who fights for God’s cause, or like one who prays all night and fasts all day.
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.
السَّاعِي عَلَى الأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَكَالَّذِي يَصُومُ النَّهَارَ وَيَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ
The person who strives on behalf of the widows and poor is like those who strive in the way of God, and like those who fast in the day and pray at night.

Is my donation zakat-eligible?
Yes, and zakat is kept separate. It is given only to those who qualify under the eight categories and carries no administrative deduction at all. Tell us when you give, or message us, and it will be allocated accordingly.
Can I donate books instead of money?
Yes, and it is genuinely useful. Quran Shareef, Noorani Qaida, or any Islamic book that is no longer being read at home. Used copies are as welcome as new ones. Message us and we will arrange collection or an address to send them to.
Can I choose which project my money goes to?
Yes. Every open project has its own giving link. If you give without specifying, we assign it to whichever project is furthest from its target, which is usually where it does the most good.
How do I know the work happened?
Completed projects stay on this site permanently, with what they cost, how many households they reached, and what changed. Photographs and video from distributions are published in the gallery.
Is a monthly gift better than a one-off?
For us, yes — predictable income lets us commit to a school year rather than funding in nervous batches. But a one-off gift at the right moment is worth more than a monthly one you cancel. Give what you can sustain.
What do you do with my data?
This website collects nothing. There are no analytics, no cookies, no trackers and no forms. If you donate, our payment provider handles your details under their own privacy policy; we only ever see your name, the amount, and an email address if you choose to give one.
